Design Ideas

This is a rough sketch of compositions of my interactive story. The first composition represents a short introduction to the Brecon Beacons National Park. It also has an Enter button that leads to the Home page. The Home page begins with a short video of Brecon Beacons (it fits the whole window) followed by its menu and Brecon Beacons text that leads you back to the Introduction page. If any link of the menu is clicked, the video will stop and will become darker. Also, a text will appear on the right side which will give you relevant information. It will be possible to scroll up and down the text, using the arrows that are placed on the right side of it.

In my opinion, the second layout looks more interesting because it has more effects applied to it. For example, it looks like a 3D map along with the shading effects unlike the first layout. The white background of the second layout strongly focuses our attention on the green map.
